গতকাল ছিল বনু হাশিমের সূর্যের পবিত্র বিলাদত শরীফ,আজ হল বনু হাশিমের চাঁদের পবিত্র বিলাদত শরীফ।কারবালার ট্রাজেডিতে একমাত্র যার শাহাদাতের সময় মওলা হুসাইন আলাইহিস সালাম অঝোরে কেঁদেছিলেন। শাবান এমন একটা মাস যে মাসে আলে মুহাম্মদের মধ্যে শুধু বেলাদতই হয়েছে, শাবানে কোন শাহাদাত নেই। আর যাদের বেলাদত হয়েছে তাদের সবারই কারবালার সাথে সম্পৃক্ততা আছে। আজ হতে ১৪১৬ চন্দ্রবছর আগে ২৬ হিজরির এই দিনে (৪ শাবান) পবিত্র মদীনায় জন্ম নিয়েছিলেন মহান কারবালা বিপ্লবের শীর্ষস্থানীয় সেনাপতি ও পতাকাবাহী নেতা হযরত আবুল ফজল আব্বাস আলাইহিস সালাম। হযরত আবুল ফজল আব্বাস বিন আলী আলাইহিস সালাম ইসলামের ইতিহাসের সবচেয়ে অশ্রুভেজা ও রক্তমাখা নামগুলোর মধ্যে অন্যতম। অতি উচ্চ পর্যায়ের পৌরুষত্ব, মহানুভবতা, ত্যাগ‑তিতিক্ষা এবং মহানবী (সা.)‘র পবিত্র আহলে বাইতের প্রতি চরম বা একনিষ্ঠ নিরঙ্কুশ আনুগত্যের জন্য ইতিহাসে তাঁর নাম প্রজ্জ্বোল হয়ে থাকবে চিরকাল। কারবালায় তাঁর অশেষ ত্যাগ‑তিতিক্ষা, ধৈর্য, বীরত্ব ও মহত্ত্ব হযরত আবুল ফজল আব্বাস ইবনে আলী (আ.)-কে পরিণত করেছে ইসলামের ইতিহাসের অন্যতম প্রধান কিংবদন্তী বা প্রবাদ পুরুষ।
আজ শা‘বান মাসের ৪ তারিখ বনি হাশিমের চাঁদ, মহান কারবালা বিপ্লবের সেনাপতি ও পতাকাবাহী মহাবীর,বাবুল ইলম ওয়াল হিকাম, নকশায়ে হায়দার, হযরত আবুল ফজল আব্বাস (আ.) এর শুভ বিলাদত শরীফ উপলক্ষে সবাইকে জানাচ্ছি প্রাণঢালা মুবারকবাদ ও তার মহান সত্তার শানে পেশ করছি অশেষ দরুদ ও সালাম।
হযরত আবুল ফজল আব্বাস আলাইহিস সালাম ছিলেন আমিরুল মুমিনিন হযরত ইমাম আলী (আ.)‘র পুত্র তথা হযরত ইমাম হাসান ও ইমাম হুসাইন (আ.)‘র সত ভাই। অনেক মহত গুণের অধিকারী ছিলেন বলে তাঁকে বলা হত আবুল ফজল তথা গুণের আধার। চিরস্মরণীয় ও বরেণ্য এই মহামানবের জীবনের নানা ঘটনার মধ্যে রয়েছে শিক্ষণীয় অনেক দিক।মদীনায় মওলা আলী (আ.)‘র স্ত্রী ফাতিমা বিনতে হাজ্জাম তথা উম্মুল বানিনের গর্ভে জন্ম নেয়া এই মহাপুরুষ যে একদিন জগতের আলোয় পরিণত হবেন তার পূর্বাভাস পাওয়া যায় পিতার একটি বক্তব্যে। ওই বক্তব্যে এসেছেঃ “আমার সন্তান আব্বাস শিশু থাকা অবস্থায়ই জ্ঞান রপ্ত করত। কবুতরের ছানা যেভাবে মায়ের কাছ থেকে পানি ও খাদ্য নেয়, তেমনি আব্বাসও আমার কাছ থেকে জ্ঞান রপ্ত করত।” হযরত আবুল ফজল আব্বাস আলাইহিস সালাম জীবনের প্রথম ১৪ বছর আমিরুল মু‘মিনিন হযরত আলী (আ.)‘র সান্নিধ্য লাভ করেছেন। নবজাতক আবুল ফজলের ডান ও বাম কানে আযান দিয়েছিলেন তাঁর মহান পিতা আলী (আ.)। তিনি জানতেন এই শিশু ভবিষ্যতে অনন্য বীরত্ব ও সাহসিকতার জন্য খ্যাত হবেন। আর তাই তিনি নবজাতকের নাম রাখেন আব্বাস। এর অর্থ সাহসী ও বীর।বলা হয় হযরত আবুল ফজল আব্বাস ঐতিহাসিক সিফফিন যুদ্ধেও কিছুক্ষণের জন্য অংশ নিয়েছিলেন।সে সময় যদিও তিনি একজন কিশোর ছিলেন কিন্তু তাকে দেখতে মনে হত দীর্ঘদেহী ও শক্তিমান এক যুবক। তিনি আলী (আ.)’ র নির্দেশে অত্যন্ত বীরত্বের সঙ্গে মুয়াবিয়ার বাহিনীর একদল সেনার এক শক্তিশালী হামলাকে তুলো-ধুনো করার মত উড়িয়ে দেন। মুয়াবিয়ার ওই সেনাদল খুব বিপজ্জনকভাবে হযরত আলী (আ.)‘র অবস্থানের দিকে এগিয়ে আসছিল। ইমাম তাঁর এই কিশোর পুত্রকে বলেছিলেন, হৈ-চৈ-এর মত কিছু একটা শোনা যাচ্ছে, তাঁবুর বাইরে দিয়ে দেখোতো ঘটনা কী? ফলে আবুল ফজল তাঁবু থেকে বেরিয়ে আসেন শত্রু সেনাদের হটিয়ে দেয়ার জন্য। এ সময় অকুতোভয় ও অচেনা এই কিশোর পাহলোয়ানের অপূর্ব সামরিক নৈপুণ্য দেখে শত্রুরা হতবাক হয়ে যায়। ইমাম আলী (আ.) নিজেই তাঁকে সামরিক প্রশিক্ষণ দিয়েছিলেন। তিনি তাঁর এই পুত্রকে বেশিক্ষণ যুদ্ধের ময়দানে থাকতে দেননি সম্ভবত এ কারণে যে আশুরার অসম যুদ্ধের দিনে ইমাম হুসাইন (আ.)-কে সহায়তা করার জন্য তাঁকে দরকার হবে।
হযরত আবুল ফজল (আ.)‘র মা উম্মুল বানিন ছিলেন বিশ্বনবী (সা.)‘র পবিত্র আহলে বাইতের জন্য উতসর্গকৃত‑প্রান। অন্যদিকে মহানবী (সা.)‘র পবিত্র আহলে বাইতও এই মহিয়সী নারীকে অত্যন্ত উচ্চতর মর্যাদার অধিকারী বলে মনে করতেন। ক্বামারে বনু হাশিম বা বনু হাশিমের চাঁদ ছিল হযরত আবুল ফজল (আ.)‘র আরেকটি উপাধি। কারণ, তিনি দেখতে ছিলেন খুবই সুন্দর, দীর্ঘদেহী ও পবিত্র স্বভাবের। স্বয়ং হযরত আলী (আ.) নিজের শাহাদতের সময় প্রিয় পুত্র আব্বাসকে কাছে ডেকে এনে তাঁকে নিজের বুকের মধ্যে টেনে নেন এবং তাঁর মর্যাদা প্রসঙ্গে বলেছেনঃ ” শিগগিরই কিয়ামত বা পুণরুত্থানের দিনে আমার চোখ তোমার মাধ্যমে উজ্জ্বল হবে।”
সৌন্দর্য ও বীরত্বের জন্য খ্যাত হযরত আবুল ফজল আব্বাস (আ.) ছিলেন তাঁর বড় দুই সৎ ভাইয়ের চেয়ে বয়সে প্রায় দুই যুগেরও ছোট। তিনি ইমাম হাসান ও ইমাম হুসাইন (আ.)-কে শ্রদ্ধার কারণে কখনও ভাই বলে সম্বোধন করতেন না, বরং বড় ভাইকে বলতেন- সাইয়্যিদি বা আমার কর্তা ও ছোট ভাইকে বলতেন ‘মৌলায়ি’ বা ‘আমার নেতা’। হযরত আবুল ফজল (আ.)-কে সম্মান ও স্নেহ করতেন ভাই মওলা হুসাইন (আ.)ও। এ প্রসঙ্গে মওলার অনেক বক্তব্য রয়েছে। এসবের মধ্যে বিশেষভাবে আশুরার আগের দিন তথা তাসুয়ার দিনে উচ্চারিত এই বাক্যটি যুগে যুগে আন্দোলিত ও উদ্দীপ্ত করে আসছে মানুষকেঃ “হে ভাই আমার! আমার জীবন উতসর্গ হোক তোমার জন্য, ঘোড় সাওয়ার হয়ে শত্রুর দিকে যাও।” তিনি এমন সময় এ ব্যক্তব্য দিয়েছিলেন যখন কারবালায় উমাইয়া নরপশুরা পশু-পাখীর জন্য ফোরাতের পানি ব্যবহারের সুযোগ রাখলেও নবী পরিবারকে কয়েকদিন ধরে পিপাসার্ত রাখতে বাধ্য করেছিল। ইমামের প্রতি আনুগত্যের আদর্শ হযরত আব্বাস (আ.) বাবুল মুরাদ বা বাবুল হাওয়ায়েজ তথা মানুষের মুশকিল আসানের দরজা নামেও খ্যাত।
হযরত ইমাম জাফর আস সাদিক (আ.) হযরত আবুল ফজল (আ.)‘র মর্যাদা প্রসঙ্গে বলেছেনঃ “আমি সাক্ষ্য দিচ্ছি যে আপনি ইমাম হুসাইন (আ.)‘র প্রতি অনুগত ছিলেন, আপনি তাঁর সঠিক অবস্থানের স্বীকৃতি দিয়েছিলেন এবং আল্লাহর এই হুজ্জাত তথা নিজ ইমামের প্রতি বিশ্বস্ত থেকেছেন ও তাঁর কল্যাণকামী ছিলেন। আপনার এতসব কষ্ট ও ত্যাগ‑তিতিক্ষার জন্য আল্লাহ আপনাকে শহীদদের মধ্যে স্থান দিয়েছেন এবং আপনার আত্মা বা মন‑প্রাণকে সৌভাগ্যবান আত্মাদের সঙ্গী করেছেন।”
আমিরুল মুমিনিন হযরত আলী (আ.) তাঁর অন্যতম পুত্র হযরত আবুল ফজল আব্বাস (আ.)-কে উন্নত আত্মার ব্যক্তিত্ব হিসেবে গড়ে তোলার পাশাপাশি একজন সুদক্ষ যোদ্ধা ও শরীরচর্চাবিদ হিসেবেও গড়ে তুলেছিলেন। ইমাম হুসাইন (আ.)‘র প্রতি আবুল ফজল আব্বাস (আ.)‘র ভালবাসা ছিল সুউচ্চ ও সুবিস্তৃত পর্বতমালার মতই অবিচল এবং সাগরের মতই কুল‑কিনারাহীন। হযরত ইমাম হাসান ও ইমাম হুসাইন (আ.)‘র মহা বরকতময় সান্নিধ্যও ভাই আবুল ফজলকে উন্নত আত্মার ও মহান চরিত্রের মানুষ হিসেবে গড়ে তোলার ক্ষেত্রে সহায়ক হয়েছিল। ভদ্রতা ও আদব‑কায়দা রক্ষার দিকেও খুবই সচেতন ছিলেন আবুল ফজল আব্বাস (আ.)। তিনি ইমাম ভ্রাতৃদ্বয়ের সামনে পরিপূর্ণ আদব রক্ষা করে চলতেন। কখনও অনুমতি ছাড়া তাঁদের পাশে বসতেন না। বর্ণনায় এসেছে, ৩৪ বছরের বরকতময় জীবনে আবুল ফজল (আ.) কখনও ইমাম হুসাইন (আ.)-কে ভাই বলে সম্বোধন করেননি, বরং তাঁকে ‘হে আল্লাহর রাসূলের সন্তান’ ও ‘আমার মাওলা বা নেতা’ বলে সম্বোধন করতেন। তিনি শৈশব থেকে সব সময়ই মহান ভাইয়ের পাশে থেকেছেন তাঁর সহায়তার জন্য এবং এ পথেই শেষ পর্যন্ত শাহাদত বরণ করেন।
আবুল ফজল আব্বাস (আ.) বিয়ে করেছিলেন ওবায়দুল্লাহ ইবনে আব্বাসের কন্যা ‘লাবাবাহ’কে। এই ঘরে জন্ম নিয়েছিল ওবায়দুল্লাহ নামে তাঁর সুযোগ্য ও প্রথম সন্তান। ইনি মক্কা ও মদীনার বিচারপতি হয়েছিলেন। তাঁর অন্য পুত্র ‘ফজল’ উচ্চ পর্যায়ের জ্ঞানী হিসেবে খ্যাতি অর্জন করেছিলেন এবং মুহাম্মাদ নামক সন্তান কারবালার জিহাদে শহীদ হন।
হযরত আবুল ফজল আব্বাস (আ.)‘র জ্ঞান ও খোদাভীতির প্রশংসা করত সবাই। মানুষের উপকার ও সমস্যা সমাধানের জন্য তিনি ‘বাবুল হাওয়ায়েজ’ শীর্ষক উপাধি পেয়েছেন।কারবালার ঘটনায় হযরত আবুল ফজল আব্বাস (আ.)‘র অশেষ আত্মত্যাগ, আনুগত্য ও বীরত্ব তাঁকে পরিণত করেছে এই বিপ্লবের শীর্ষস্থানীয় ব্যক্তিত্বে এবং খোদায়ী আনুগত্যের অমর প্রতীকে। তিনি ছিলেন কারবালায় ইমামের বাহিনীর প্রধান সেনাপতি ও পতাকাবাহী। নবী পরিবারের পিপাসার্ত শিশুদের জন্য পানি আনতে গিয়ে হযরত আবুল ফজল আব্বাস (আ.) শত্রুর তীর বৃষ্টি উপেক্ষা করেছেন এবং বহু হামলাকারীকে জাহন্নামে পাঠিয়ে ফোরাতের সুপেয় পানি মশকে ভরতেও সক্ষম হয়েছিলেন। এ সময় কয়েকদিন ধরে পিপাসার্ত হওয়া সত্ত্বেও তিনি কারবালার অন্য সব তৃষ্ণার্ত সঙ্গী ও শিশুদের কষ্টের কথা স্মরণ করে এক ফোটা পানিও পান করা নিজের জন্য সমীচিন বলে মনে করেননি। ফলে পানি হাতে নিয়েও সে পানি ফেলে দেন এই মহাবীর। পানি যেন এই মহাবীরের ধৈর্যের কাছে পরাজিত ও লজ্জিত হয়েছে চিরকালের জন্য। পানির মশক নিয়ে ইমাম শিবিরের দিকে ফিরে আসার সময় শত্রুর প্রবল বাধার শিকার হন হযরত আবুল ফজল আব্বাস (আ.)। চারদিক থেকে ঘিরে থাকা শত্রুরা প্রথমে তার এক হাত কেটে ফেলে। এ সময়ও অন্য হাত দিয়ে পানির মশক ধরে এগিয়ে আসছিলেন তিনি। কিন্তু আবারও তার অন্য হাতটি কেটে ফেলে নরপশুরা। ফলে মুখ দিয়ে মশক ধরে এগিয়ে চলেন এই মহাবীর। অবশেষে নরপশুর দল তীর মেরে ওই মশক ফুটো করে দিলে শেষ হয়ে যায় ইমাম শিবিরে পানি পৌঁছানোর শেষ প্রচেষ্টা।শত্রুরা আরো তীর মেরে ও তরবারির অঘাত হেনে শহীদ করে হযরত আবুল ফজল আব্বাস (আ.)-কে। এভাবে রক্তের ফোয়ারা বইয়ে শহীদ হন ইমাম শিবিরের পতাকাবাহী অন্যতম প্রধান সেনাপতি। শেষ পর্যন্ত নিজ শরীরে পতাকা ধরে রেখেছিলেন এই মহাবীর।
আল্লাহ রাব্বুল ইজ্জত হযরত আবুল ফজল আব্বাস ইবনে আলী (আঃ) এর পবিত্র মাজারে নিরন্তর পানির ফোয়ারা প্রবাহিত রেখেছেন।
